Kathryn and Ryan are soon to be world travelers for 7 months.  That's right, folks, 7 months!  How cool is that?  So before they head off to exotic places like Argentina, they needed to have their engagement photos done.  A couple hours later into the engagement session, we had explored the not-so-exotic, but just as beautiful, Chicago, tangoed and laughed.

Kathryn and Ryan, I can't wait to see your photos of the world!  In the meantime, enjoy these.

Meredith and Luke's wedding was my first time shooting at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois and my first time meeting the lovely couple in person.  What a beautiful day and venue! (For those brides who believe a photographer needs to have worked in a venue before in order to do a good job, totally not true.  Look at a photographer's skills, overall.)

Meredith was one of the calmest brides I've encountered.  Her demeanor made perfect sense to me when I met Luke.  He is so kind and sweet: a perfect gentleman.

By the way, I can't recommend the Hyatt Lodge enough.  It's definitely one of my favorite venues to photograph.

Meredith and Luke, hope you are enjoying a fabulous honeymoon.  Drink a couple fancy schmancy cocktails for me!
