and of course, the rest of Milan's family.

I love this family!  Milan's older brother, Aryan, is as adorable as ever.

Milan is one easy-going baby and Aryan is full of boundless energy. I give total props to their parents for raising such sweeties.

Also, I'm completely envious of Aryan's retro toy kitchen from Pottery Barn. It is the cutest thing EVER (well, besides Aryan and Milan). It's a toy set that will give your toy room stellar style.

Thanks for the fun and exercise, Aryan and Milan!

I'm back in the office and so excited to show you Megan and Matt's engagement session. My adorable husband assisted me with lighting and Chicago did the rest.  As you can see, Chicago is worth braving the cold for sights such as these.

Megan and Matt are high school sweethearts and it's wonderful to know their chemistry is still alive and kickin' strong.

Congrats on your upcoming marriage!

In the crazed hustle and bustle of the season, here is a little man sure to receive lots of hugs during the holidays.

LPP_1883sm.jpg

Life can be so harried and worrisome, but take a step back and revel in the little moments of breathing in babies, baked goods and the sparkle of holiday lights hitting damp pavement. You don't have to be a photographer to really see them. Just look.

I'm going to do my own reveling this upcoming week and the office will be closed from Dec. 19-26.  All e-mails and phone calls will be answered upon my return.

While I didn't get out those holiday cards to all my clients - there's always next year, right? - I wish you gentleness of heart, belly-busting laughter, and beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing all three with me this past year. What a whirlwind it's been to photograph such lovely people!

Hugs!
