I’m Laurie Peacock…
I’m a Chicago wedding photographer, capturing “real” moments with a creative eye. While sometimes a little dorky, I use humor and conversation to help you relax before the camera. I’m a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, which means I photograph emotional, real moments like Mom stifling tears when she sees her daughter in her wedding dress, the groom’s gentle caress, and Grandpa “getting down” and laughing on the dance floor. These are the little wonderful moments you’ll want to remember forever. You spend months planning a wedding, so why not invest in quality photography that shows the effort was so totally worth it?
Some random facts about me:
1.) In kindergarten, my clown drawing graced the cover of our clown recital program. I guess my scribbles resembled a clown more than the other kids’. You might say I was a born artist if scribbling could be called art.
2.) I’m a choir geek from way back. I’ve sung my fair share of madrigals. Don’t know what those are? It’s okay, they’re kind of dorky.
3.) In addition to photography, animals, books and learning about different cultures are my passions.
4.) I own three adorable mutts, Winston, Murphy and Emily.
5.) If I could have an entire house filled with animals and children, I would be a very happy camper.
6.) I used to work in politics and have a degree in political science with a focus in international relations.
7.) I love trashy reality television, AMC, Bravo, and HBO original shows. Yay Game of Thrones and the Killing.
8.) I also love independent and foreign films and

10.) I attended the Ohio State University. My husband attended the University of Michigan. We’re like that disgusting ESPN commercial. I love football season and talking smack.
