I really lucked out with fantastic light for Lauren and Zan's engagement session. Both Lauren and Zan lucked out with each other. I think it's a fair trade.

Lauren and Zan met each other while studying abroad. I'm so happy they're here in Chicago now because of the following images. How awesome is Lauren's polka dot dress?

Rachel + Arthur = Engaged!

Rachel and Arthur have the sweetest story of how they fell in love. Competitors in sales, they quickly became friends where Arthur would give Rachel love advice. Eventually they began dating.  Arthur was the perfect gentleman and lavished Rachel with attention, except for one thing; Rachel had to make the move for the first kiss.

As you can see from these photos, those beginning dates were a sweet prelude to a long marriage.

Michele + Jeremiah's Chicago Engagement Session

I CANNOT wait for Michele and Jeremiah's destination wedding in Mexico next year.  Michele is easy to laugh and Jeremiah's dry humor is hilarious. I know I will have a blast.

By the way, Michele and Jeremiah were referred to me by Sarah, who was referred to me by Kara. All three girls are book club buddies. Yay to fellow book lovers...or at least those who like to hang out and gab. :)  It's kind of cool to think their book discussions probably began on topics about the men they were dating to then getting engaged and next wedding plans. I can't wait to see what books they'll choose to match their future stages of life.

But back to Michele and Jeremiah's engagement session, which is really about reveling in the fantastic present and chemistry they have together.
