After my trip to Panama, I flew straight to New York City to photograph Tess and Al's engagement session, which began in Central Park and ended at Columbus Circle. Although I'm photographing Tess and Al's wedding this summer in Naperville, IL, Tess and Al met in NYC and wanted to include this beautiful city in their engagement session. (By the way, I'm always available to shoot destination engagement sessions.) Al actually proposed to Tess on Bow Bridge in Central Park.
We walked quite a bit around Central Park and you can see from the photographs, Central Park is so lovely and peaceful, especially in the morning. Al was full of boundless energy and random tidbits of knowledge while Tess was a good-humored sweety with a dimple worthy of envy.
I had a great time exploring NYC with you, Tess and Al. Won't be long before I see you in your wedding finery. :)
Love the close up of the hands on the bow bridge that is a perfect reminder of such a life changing event. And the last photo is fantastic so peaceful in each other arms while in the background reality of a crazy world is forgotten.

(05.19.10 @ 12:10 PM)Kristin and Tim met me the day after Tim proposed to Kristin. Kristin's dad had surprised the couple with tickets to a bridal show and they won the free engagement session with me through a raffle. I think I was the lucky one to get to work with such an easy-going couple willing to brave the cold.
It was such a pleasure working with you, Kristin and Tim. Congrats!!
love these!!!!!!!

(03.11.10 @ 12:04 AM)Normally I get jealous when I see shots from photographers living in California, but this set shows we can use our Northern weather and light and still come out with awesome shoots! Sadly I've never been to Chicago, but shots like (2) and (4) really take me there. well done!
