A little message from lil’ ol’ me

I interrupt my regular sporadic posting of photos for a brief message to some of my clients who are going through some tough times right now.

I imagine it feels like you’ve been sucker-punched by life recently. But I and a bunch of your friends and family are sending lots of positive energy your way. To me, life doesn’t always hold a lot of rhyme or reason, but I do know this: the rotten moments make the spectacular moments all the more precious and, well, spectacular.

I look forward to capturing your spectacular moments very soon. Hang in there.

Weathered beauty

weathered gate

I’d like to think as we age we become more textured and nuanced. More interesting to look at. But with society’s fixation on youth and no lines, the high class dames seem to get lost or botoxed into oblivion. I hope that as I age my personality will mellow and develop warm, rich tones like a Stradivari violin. Maybe by then I’ll learn how to get out of my own way and be me, unfettered by the noise.
