A newborn doesn’t have to be sleeping or in a studio to make beautiful portraits. Little Santiago, with his abundant fluffy hair, was ready for his close-up and very alert in his own home. The photos where he looks like he was sleeping were actually just when he momentarily closed his eyes. His four-year-old brother, Mateo, also had a fun time getting in on the action. Prior to this session, Mateo had been reluctant to hold his brother. I love how I was able to capture this first time for his family.
