These are amazing! They are by far the best photos I’ve had of the kids, and you captured their personalities so well … I am in love with all of these, and it was just such a perfect way to capture this visit with my parents (they left today and it’s so hard not knowing when we’ll see them again), as well as marking this time in our new home with the puppy.

It’s always such an honor to be part of a family’s lives, especially during times like these where the family is cherished more than ever. These kids and puppy, Rosie, expended a lot of energy during this backyard family session and I had a blast capturing spontaneous moments and some portraits in their backyard.

  • We got these relaxed portraits out of the way right at the beginning.
  • Cookies as bribery a reward for the family portraits.
  • Goofy younger siblings.
  • They started to tell him that his shoes were mixed up, but I waved them off. A priceless moment indicative of being five-years-old.
  • Backward shoes didn’t slow him down.
  • Rosie!!! Yorkie/Bichon mix.

I may be a family photographer based in Chicago, but I live near 90/95 and find it very easy visiting suburbs, especially like Northfield, Glenview, etc…
