As a fellow twin mom, I get it. It’s so hard to leave your house when you have twin newborns. I’m here to make at least one thing easier: newborn portraits at home. That’s right. No travel. No gigantic diaper bags to pack. No double strollers or carriers. I’ll come to your home with my own lighting gear and props. In-Home Newborn Photography
A newborn doesn’t have to be sleeping or in a studio to make beautiful portraits. Little Santiago, with his abundant fluffy hair, was ready for his close-up and very alert in his own home. The photos where he looks like he was sleeping were actually just when he momentarily closed his eyes. His four-year-old brother, Mateo, also had a fun time getting in on the action. Prior to this session, Mateo had been reluctant to hold his brother. I love how I was able to capture this first time for his family.

Taking family photos in more urban locations in Chicago is a great way to differentiate your photos and also show off both the family and city you love. I usually recommend my families to schedule their family session earlier in the morning on a weekend when fewer people are around. This session took place on the Riverwalk and Michigan Avenue.
