As I’ve said before, photographing Lisa and her family is such a joy. They are soon moving into a new house and wanted me to document their typical weekend morning of lounging in bed and hanging out in their old home. As a lover of black and white photos, I thought this session would be perfect to portray how adept black and white is at showing relationships.

I’m totally in love with this boy’s toothy grim.

After bed lounging, they had a quick bite to eat.

And then, silly holiday sweater time.

Not quite sure what this is, but I love when kids watch the world upside down. I don’t think the dog was that impressed.

It was such an honor helping this sweet family remember their first home together.
