What could be more fabulous after a long bike ride or dog walk than sipping gin and tonics from a thermos while watching the sunset over Lake Michigan? Photographing it.

This lovely couple’s daughter/stepdaughter gave them the gift of a portrait session with me. I loved that they wore their typical clothing, brought their beautiful dogs, and were full of love and laughter.

By the way, you should totally check out their family company, Ocochi. It’s luxury bamboo bedding, and I loved seeing how sparkly-eyed and enthusiastic they are about the company’s mission to use family-run manufacturers and sustainable materials. Their passion reminds me of my own for what I do.
