Want to have your favorite family moments captured? This family was moving from their beloved Chicago and believed a documentary family photo session would be the perfect momento to take with them to their new home.

This family chose a four-hour session, which was enough time to visit their favorite places as a family. I also took some relaxed portraits of them.

We visited the beach after some photos in their lovingly rehabbed home. After playing at their neighborhood park, the session was topped off ice cream at Jeni’s after burger and fries at Small Cheval in Old Towne. Capturing ice cream dripping from chins was the perfect end to one of my favorite sessions to date.
