Moment-Driven Photography
My favorite photos of my kids are moment-driven. These treasured photos show their personalities and the goofiness of their childhood. To get my kids to pose for me is often a lost cause.
But I love their little tongues sticking out as seen in the photo above. Yes, not everyone is looking at the camera, but the moment caught here is more riveting than merely a pretty portrait.
Perhaps not everyone will share my opinion, but that’s why many types of kid photography exist. Hopefully, I can make a “moment-driven photography” believer out of you with the following photos of my kids.
Here’s one last series of photos of my kids that make me laugh so hard. I allowed them to use my old eyeshadow palette. By the way, all of these photos in this post were taken and edited with an iPhone. I hope you can see that the photographer makes the photos and not just the camera. Also, for those of you who fear a home documentary family session due to your homes being too mess, my bathroom is very cluttered, but that doesn’t matter because the kids are the focus.
