People ask me if they can bring their pets to portrait sessions all of the time. Pets are family too! Yes, please contact me if you want to include your fur babies in a family portrait session. Families come in all shapes and sizes. Some just have more slobber and hair than others.

I’m a huge animal lover and have poodle mix named Emily. We used to have Winston and Murphy, but they are now running in heavenly pastures. I have a lot of experience with taking animal portraits. Poor Winston and Murphy were my guinea pigs when I was learning photography.

Below are some examples of my pet/family portraits with dogs. Of course, I’m cool with all animals including cats, but for some reason cats tend to photobomb rather than sit pretty for the camera.

Now onto the pups (and one cat)!
